4. Drink enough water

 

Everyone knows that drinking water is healthy, but why exactly? For some people, it is difficult to consume 1.5 to 2.5 litres of fluid daily. They are not thirsty or are so busy that they don’t allow themselves time to drink enough. Water is one of the necessities of life. Without water, a person can only live for a few days. When the water content in the body drops by only 2 per cent, there may already be dehydration. Water is good for all kinds of body processes, such as breathing, heat regulation, blood pressure and bowel movements.

Water is good for your organs such as heart, kidneys, intestines and liver. It ensures that nutrients are transported to the right place and waste is removed. Try to get into the habit of drinking a glass of water at different times of the day.
