This magnificent concert hall is lauded Elphi by sailors and opened only recently, using its inaugural concerts taking place on January 11th, 2017, with performances from the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra.
This hall is just one of the tallest buildings in Hamburg in 354 ft tall and resembles a wave of water from the outside, as a result of Herzog & de Meuron, the architecture firm that designed the concert hall.
