5) The Spiderman Art Heist

In 2010, Vjeran “Spiderman” Tomic and two accomplices stole five masterpieces from Musee d’Art Moderne. As a tall and athletic man, Tomic earned his nickname and reputation after scaling and robbing various Parisian apartments.

The modern art museum heist, however, was his crowning achievement. Well, at least of the achievements he has revealed. The thieves took a Matisse, a Picasso, a Braque, a Leger, and a Modigliani which were never recovered. And why did Tomic say that he took the art? Because he liked them.
